Does your company have more than twenty employees? Pay attention to the following at the beginning of the New Year!

 

According to the amendment of the Hungarian Labor Safety Act it is required to choose a labor safety representative for five years for those employers where the number of employees is at least twenty. The deadline is the 8th January, 2017. The administration of the electoral process and providing its terms are the obligation of the employer. If the number of workers is less than twenty, then the trade union, workers’ delegate, in the absence of them, the majority of workers may initiate the selection of a labor safety representative – to ensure the conditions is also the responsibility of the employer. The main task of the labor safety representatives is to contribute to the creation of the healthy and safe working conditions.
