As one of the top 5 multidisciplinary global alliance Alliott Global Alliance places great emphasis on regional cooperation among its members and to this end, regional conferences are organized on a regular basis. The German Circle Meeting is one such regional conference as well, which takes place annually and is a key event for members with business interests in German-speaking countries.
This year Fehér Legal & Tax had the honour to host the German Circle Meeting between September 25 and 26, 2025 in Budapest, where nearly 30 delegates from the DACH countries and from Slovakia, Poland, France, Italy, the Netherlands and UK attended.
On the day of the conference our managing partner, Daniel Fehér introduced the delegates the fundaments of the Hungarian tax and social insurance regime, his presentation was followed by Dirk Wölfer, Head of Communication of the German-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DUIHK). Mr. Wölfer presented Hungary from a German perspective but in a highly objective manner with figures, data, and facts.
Following presentations introducing Hungary, CEO Giles Break informed about the latest news regarding Alliott Global Alliance. In the afternoon, issues related to the practical application of artificial intelligence by lawyers and accountants and networking topics were discussed. The review of both topics was greatly facilitated by the fact that the small number of delegates allowed for real workshop-style discussions with strong focus on the regional cooperation.
The conference was made even more memorable by a visit to the parliament, and a dinner combined with a night cruise on the Danube.
